I’ve worked with countless home inspectors over the years and after 13 years in the business I can confidently say that Scott has been the absolute best experience I have ever had. I would trust him with literally any client.

We were fortunate that our realtor recommended Scott at RISE for our home inspection on a house we had put an offer on in Toronto's east end. Everything happened very fast and I think we were able to secure an appointment with Scott within about 24 hours notice.

Scott is very friendly and generous with his knowledge. Right away he walked us through what the process would look like and what sorts of things he'd be looking for. We could tell right from the beginning he was very thorough and systematic. He also provided very valuable advice and context that are beyond the strict scope of the inspection, but were super useful to us as newbie home owners, including on potential renos we were considering. He's super clear about what needs regular maintenance and how often and what to look for to recognize that something might become a problem. At the same time he was always careful to note when something wasn't his professional expertise and what sort of professional we should reach out to for more info on a particular topic.

The report arrived later that evening and was 60 pages of in depth insight including photos, diagrams and even cost estimates that have already been a massive help as we take possession and figure out what maintenance and repairs need to be done sooner than later and what can wait. And he's offered multiple times that we should treat him as an unbiased resource for questions in the future. All in all we couldn't be happier with Scott and RISE. Definitely recommend!!
